Time: 18 days.

Peru is said to be archeological capital of the world.

Our trail takes 8 days in the mountains. In total wilderness, with only few Indian settlements on the way. Here you meet with power of nature and history. Crossing the mountains we use ancient trail of Incas, and Spanish conquistadors as well, and get to ruins of three most important centers of Incas civilization. We travel with caravan of mules carrying supplies, tents and equipment. This is essential for long travel in uncivilized territory of Cordilliera Vilcabamba.

The most important:

Inca Heartland is not just a trekking. This is emotion. Did you ever dreamed to become explorer who wanders in the remote mountains and jungle in search of lost cities? Fight with climate, fear, weakness and despair? Walk the path on the edge, camp in surrounds of ruins, climb colossal mountains? This is scenario for people with desire to explore. Trail goes on elevation of 3-5 thousand meters (9-15 thousand feet) and then downhill to the level of Amazon jungle.

Final point is Vilcabamba ruins (discovered in 1964 by Gene Savoy), last capital of Incas. Only minority travelers ever had a chance to visit this place.

Besides trekking we’ll have time to visit Peru capital Lima, beautiful colonial cities of Cuzco and Arequipa, try desert surfing in Ica, skeletons valley in Nazca, and much more.
