THE AFGHANISTAN

WAR ZONE EXPEDITION

Thrilling expedition to country ruined by war.

Sneaking between terrorist and army’s controlled territories. Seeing minefields, Pashto villages, and war-torn wasteland. Crossing famous Khyber Pass.

And in a middle of this – discover beautiful, untouched realm where life seems like centuries ago.

Place, where hundred striking adventures awaits for curious adventurer.

Place: Afghanistan and Pakistan, Central Asia.
Environment: Desert and mountains.
Activities: War Zone adventure expedition.
Time: 12 or 18 days.

We started providing expeditions to Afghanistan for journalists and TV groups. Then we decided to make program for adventure-minded travelers. We simply realized that Afghanistan and Pakistan are fascinating places for individuals searching for "real" adventure.

Understanding the war: In Kabul you'll see whole neighborhoods ruined by bombs and mortar shells. Afghanistan has ruins of burned and bombed villages, places never to see in CNN news coverage.

War and terrorist actions leftovers are visible at every step in this country.

Here we take you to the minefields to see how Afghan soldiers are risking their lives for clean mines and UXO.

Afghan historic monuments: We'll cross famous "Khyber Gorge" and pass all way between Kabul and Peshawar, dotted with destroyed tanks or Russian Army. Unforgettable Mountain views on the way.

We'll visit remnants of great Afghan history - destroyed Buddha's in Bamyan, Great Tower on desert near Herat, Alexander the Great citadel in Herat, and places along old Silk Road.

Country and it's people: We'll go to famous Pansheer valley where Ahmed Shah Massoud fought with Russians and Taliban until his death. We'll hear the war stories of formed mujaheedin of Massoud army, and visit place where the great leader was buried.

From Pakistani city Peshawar we'll take tour to Pashto Clan's mountains. Independent zone called by some as “Outlaw Country”. Our security is guaranteed by hiring local guides.

Visiting Afghanistan is unforgettable but perhaps shocking experience.

Afghanistan is still dangerous country, so we employ few levels of security: Prior planning with updated security reports is first. Avoiding places known for terrorist and rebel activities is second. Avoiding areas of fighting is third. During the overland expedition we travel in jeeps with Afghan guards and translator.

CLE scenario and time:

1 – Islamabad.
2,3 – Peshawar and Pashto clans’ zone.
4 – Overland travel to Kabul by Khyber Pass.
5,6 – Kabul.

In 18 days version:
